2026.4.0 - Item Field Control, Update Characteristics default value, Search Improvement and Bug fixes

Feature

1. Item field control is now possible with a BRF+ decision table. Any item fields’ property could be handled by Change Header and Item field as context. Making field invisible is not possible.
2. Default value for Class Characteristics assigned to Change Record based on update of one of the characteristic field is possible with XCM customization
3. Class can be registered against a change record type for maintenance restriction and allowed only for authorized user
4. XCM Enterprise Search allows the search on Detailed description which is a long text with the prerequisite that user should create a Full text index

Bug Fixes / Improvements

1. Improve the Inbox additional attributes in the Expert View to add fields on why this person as chosen as Agent by providing the Agent and Agent Description specifying if this is from Teams Function / Teams Header / Direct User / Custom Agent Rule of XCM / Business Partner

2. Improve the Process Builder for the Show/Hide of Inactive Task. There is a known error now that the Parallel tasks will still show inactive task if this is the first or last task of the parallel task node, when you choose the option “Show Active Tasks”

3. Fixed the issue that Process Builder Sync Agent was showing wrong result when it was done for Specific Parameters but worked fine for All Parameters.

4. Few translation to German missed in Process Builder was now implemented.

5. Adapt the XCM adaptation of Process Route for the improvement from SAP on note: 3748464 - Process Routes: Agent Popover Displays Non-Recipients - Backend

6. Fixed the issue with Process Builder generating multiple Process for same Change Record due to concurrent access by different users.

7. Adapt the XCM adaptation of Process Route for the Forward Agent button implemented with SAP notes

   1. 3723207 - Action ‘Forward’ in Process Routes for Change Record - BE changes
   2. 3734990 - Action ‘Forward’ in Process Routes for Change Record - UI changes

8. Adapt the XCM adaptation of Process Route for the improvement from SAP note: 3725686 - Process Route table column label issue in Change Record - BE Changes

9. Navigation from XCM Enterprise Search App and XCM Analytics App now supports to intent based navigation to the right App variant configured for the record type of the CR
