2026.1.0 - Governance for BRF+ and XCM customizing, MDG cockpit

This release has minor improvements

Features

1. Governance is added to BRF+ decision tables to Save and Activate only when the valid role is available.

   1. Users responsible for making process changes can now save and activation can be validated by responsible users
   2. When the activation is triggers by unauthorized user, email triggered to user who are identified by BAdI

2. All the XCM customizing entries has the governance with admin fields logging when and who created or updated the customizing.

3. Process migration log pop-up was enhanced with additional fields that might be required and loaded with icons to show the process completion and task decision. Also enabled sorting of columns.

4. Added authorization control for editing the process builder with option to overrule the authorization based on customer specific implementation using a BAdI as exit.

   1. Only user with valid authorization will be allowed to perform all the transactional features of Process Builder
   2. If there are customer specific use case to overrule the authorization concept and provide authorization via custom logic, this could be achieved with BAdI mentioned in section 7.c.

5. User is allowed to add background task and email background task in Process Builder

   1. Background task does not need any agent to be filled it.
   2. Email background task needs the agent type and agent to be filled in

6. Agent pop-up in Process Builder is now redesigned to provide resize option with scroll to make the UI intuitive to limit few number of agents and scroll/resize based on screen size to see all other agents.

7. Authorization object /XCM/CR is enhanced with new activities to support additional use cases and admin permissions.

   1. Activities:

      1. CO – Complete MDG Request as Admin using the MDG Cockpit for Change Record
      2. PR – Maintain Process Builder
      3. PU – Change & activate BRF+ decision tables
      4. 23 – Change & save BRF+ decision tables (no activation)

   2. Assign this object to the required roles to avoid authorization errors

   3. Note: Conditional access to Process Builder (without PR) can be implemented via BAdI /XCM/PR_EX_PROCESS_BUILDER.

8. MDG-cockpit for Change Record processing is a standalone app which can be used to have an overview of all the MDG tasks that are relevant for a CR. This app provides the following feature

   1. Team handing MDG requests could have an overview of all the open tasks and the details of the Change Record without need to open the Change Record App.
   2. They can navigate to Change Record and MDG Request using the hyperlink on the respective fields
   3. Data can be filtered based on the status of the MDG Request task for CR
   4. Authorized person can complete the MDG Request using the action “Complete MDG Request”. This action closes the task open in Change Record without checking the MDG Request status.
   5. Exit available as BAdI to perform validation when the decision is taken from API or directly from the cockpit.

Bug Fixes / Improvements

1. Removed the usage of /STX/ switch framework and /XCM/ specific switch framework is used
2. The relevant status will only be displayed in the process builder level
3. Removed the duplicate Agent entries for Team function during the value help on the Agent for Task creation in Process Builder.
4. Validation added to check only users with valid user id and Business Partners are allowed to choose as agent and also when the agent is Team function or Team Header, the Function or Team chosen is validated id that exists and are allowed for the given record type.
5. Fixed the issue that agents pop-up in Process Builder was not getting closed when an agent was added to a task which has no agents available.
6. The correct message has been added when the Process Builder version is finalized.
7. Fixed the issue related to the creation icon in Mass upload of Teams and Responsibilities at the creation stage.
