2026.2.0 - Item Based Task Parameter, Enterprise Search 2.0, KPI Dashboard, Inbox Performance improvement and Bug fixes

Feature

1. Business Parameters need not be added to the header always. With this release we bring in the option to add customization to read business parameter from any of the Items.

   1. Business Parameter like plant is not usually reflected in the changes from the material master. A material added as an affected item could be produced in different plants which is a business parameter that determines the task for Plant responsible to be involved. This is now possible by providing the option to maintain plant as Business Parameter and involve in the process and agent determination.
   2. When there is more than one plant as affected, tasks are multiplied for each plant when the plant is added as task parameter to the Task Id.

2. Enterprise search 2.0 brings more performance optimization in fetching data of different items and a dedicated Fiori tile for configuring the input, output and generation of the connector with view to check the status of the connector.

   1. Search the Change Record Header or Item to fetch the Change Records
   2. Search term with fuzzy search is now enabled for Change Record Header attributes helping to limit the search of Change Record based on an item search.
   3. An intuitive Fiori App to control the fields relevant for search, result and search term available for the admins to configure without the need to create work on CDS extension as this is generated by the tool.

3. Teams template download with data has now the possibility to download only the specific Team. Downloading the complete hierarchy of Teams for a given team type or specific team is now possible.

   1. Why always download the complete hierarchy when you need to change a specific Team. Now you have the option to download template with data restricting data to a specific Team Type or to a specific Team. This gives the flexibility to address different use case of updating in mass or a single Team using excel template.

4. Process Builder gets additional feature to sync the agents from the updated Teams and Responsibility Hierarchy.

   1. Every time there is a change in the organization hierarchy, it is important for the agents to be added or removed to the process reflecting the correct agents are addressed. Now the Process Builder has the feature to refresh agent for the complete hierarchy or only for a specific task.
   2. Agents added as user in Change Record header is now synced without requiring to restructure the complete hierarchy, using the refresh button in the hierarchy
   3. Task status also updated on correcting the agents missing error with refresh or when adding new agent.

5. MDG integration solution improved with the scenario to Create new material and update the Change Record Item with the created material number replacing the placeholder used.

   1. When there is a new material created by the MDG change request, this can be passed to the MDG integration API of XCM to reflect the newly created material to the Change Record Item.

Bug Fixes / Improvements

1. Fixed the issue with Inbox attribute taking more time to load the data. Also, now the Inbox additional information shows even if you are the substitute for the work-item.
2. Fixed the issue with My Inbox expert mode showing Task Note duplicated in the columns even though it was added once in the customization.
3. Fixed the issue with the navigation to MDG request on clicking on MDG number.
4. Fixed the issue with the Process Builder unable to generate template when there is any incorrect configuration in the BRF+ or customization. This is shown as an error message that Process Builder generation failed.
5. Fixed the issue with Process Builder showing generated successfully even though there is no task or incorrect task being maintained from the BRF+ for Task generation Decision Table
6. Improved the Workflow log pop-up with additional column to show the exact time at which the step got executed and also sorted it in the right order by execution time.
7. Mass upload had a limitation to add the agents as user which is 12 CHAR vs adding Business Partner which is 10 CHAR. Now the template always accepts user ID with 12 CHAR which is converted to Business Partner by the tool.
8. Agent pop-up in Process Builder was showing only the User Id which is now updated to provide the User Name as well.
9. Fixed the issue that add agent was allowing to add a empty agent name. Now it shows an error and does not allow the user to close the pop-up in Process Builder edit agent pop-up when the agent field is blank.
10. Fixed the issue that, Mass Upload of Teams allowed any value other than the allowed value for Teams Responsibility. This is now validated based on the Search Help attached to the Responsibility definition.
