2025.4.0 - Process Builder, T&R Mass Upload Fiori App and other bug-fixes

Features

1. New Fiori App – Mass Upload of Teams and Hierarchy

   1. Replaces the previous report program for mass uploads.
   2. Allows users to download a template with existing data and upload Teams and Responsibilities in bulk.
   3. Supports Create, Update, and Delete actions for Teams, Members, and Responsibilities.
   4. For more details, refer to the Mass Creation & Update of Teams Hierarchy via Fiori App
   5. The existing report delivered with 2025.2.0 - Dynamic Field Control and Mass Creation of Teams Hierarchy has been deleted.

2. Process Builder – New Component in Change Record UI

   1. Simulates complete process tasks, providing transparency on agents to be acted upon in each status before workflow starts. The rule to build the simulation in Process Builder is based on Advanced Process Control Framework .
   2. Allows deactivation of tasks and/or agents specific to a Change Record.
   3. Enables adding more tasks and agents to a specific task.
   4. Task Status indicator warns if the process might get stuck, allowing admins to take quick corrective action.
   5. Process Builder integration to the process route will be part of release 2025.5.0. For now only simulation is possible without impacting the actual process which is still based on BRF+ rule.

3. Process Route - Additional information to describe the task better

   1. Displays header information and record status for background tasks in the process route.
   2. Shows the approved user of each work item in the Process Routes.
   3. If the Task is based on a specific parameter or by all parameter is displayed as a new column Task responsibility.

4. Value help has been implemented for the Agent Types and Task ID field in BRF+.

5. XCM Process Route information also stores the agent type and agent for background task as well which supports the send email case to fetch the agents.

6. Migration of Process History

   1. With the migration of Engineering record to Change Record it is now possible to also migrate the process
   2. Adapted the code to update the change record status using the API with the release of SAP notes 3595229

Bug Fixes / Improvements

1. Removed the implementation to restrict the user from status change using the authority object /XCM/CUS as this could be achieved the authority object IAM/I_USTA
2. Changed the table for Business Parameter entries ( /STX/CUS → eXtended Change Management → XCM Customizing → Define Business Parameters ) as customizing instead of application table.
3. Duplicate background task has been removed from the Process routes.
4. In case the background task for set next status identifies no next status and the current status is the completion status, the task was ending is error which is now fixed and this task will be set to completed.
5. Task ID length updated from 15 characters to 30 characters in 2025.3.0 - Migration to Change Record and CR Item Status Change on milestones. But the maintenance was restricted to 15 CHAR. This is now fixed to maintain Task ID with 30 characters.
