Situation

You’re upgrading from an earlier version of PPM Process Package to a newer release. Manual steps for migration are necessary.

Solution

The following steps are necessary, if you implemented your own BRF+ customizing app. If you have not created your own BRF+ application according to Creation of Customer BRF+ Application, this can be ignored.

Due to a minor change in PPP’s technical implementation, the object type TPO (Task directly below Project) has been merged with TTO (Task) and TPT (Task Template directly below Project) has been merged with TTT (Task Template).

Therefore, all usages of TPO and TPT within your own BRF+ applications should be removed or replaced by TTO / TTT respectively. Differentiating between Task (Templates) directly below Projects and Tasks on other levels is no longer supported within PPP’s BRF+ customizing.

This change applies to the following customizing tables (and possibly all other places where you manually included OBJECT_TYPE as part of your custom include structure):

• Authorization Sections
• Change Document Sections
• Column Control Authorization
