Continuing our journey to enrich the PPM Process Package (PPP) with user-centric enhancements, we’re proud to introduce version 2024.1.5. This update brings forward innovative features designed to improve project structure accessibility and streamline project navigation, ensuring that users can manage and access their projects more efficiently than ever before.

Features

Project Structure Sharing with Deep Links

  • Effortless Sharing: We’ve introduced the ability to share nodes within the project structure through “Deep Links.” With a new “Share” button on each project node within the Project Structure, sharing is now more intuitive. When another user opens a Deep Link, they’ll be directly navigated to the shared node within the project tree, enhancing collaboration and ease of access.
  • Power User Flexibility: For those accustomed to shortcuts, copying the browser URL now serves as an efficient method to share project nodes, catering to power users who prefer swift, straightforward actions.

Favorites for Quick Project Access

  • Personalize Your Workflow: Users can now mark projects as “Favorites,” which will be visible in a dedicated tab within the Project Overview. This feature allows for quick access to frequently visited projects, streamlining workflow and project navigation.
  • Seamless Integration: Marking a project as a favorite in the classic PPM WebDynpro UI will automatically reflect in PPP’s “Favorites” tab, and vice versa, ensuring a cohesive user experience across different interfaces.

Bug Fixes

We’ve been hard at work squashing bugs to make your PPP experience smoother. Here’s what we’ve fixed in this release:

  • Button “Aggregate Severities” is Visible For Project Types Where the Feature is Disabled According to SPRO Customizing
  • Task Datepicker Show Impossible Date Ranges
  • Field “Responsible Role” Displays Different Data in PPP and Classic WebDynpro UI
  • Value Helps Don’t Supply All Values During Staffing
  • Default Customizing For Checklist and Checklist Item Fields Contains Invalid Fields
