2024.1.3 - Prioritizing Precision

2024.1.3 - Prioritizing Precision

As part of our commitment to enhancing and evolving PPM Process Package, we’re excited to unveil version 2024.1.3. This update introduces a host of new features designed to streamline your project management workflow, alongside critical bug fixes for an improved user experience.

Features

Project Planning Severities

Now update a project node’s severity and display the related icon directly in the Project Planning tab, enhancing visibility and priority management.

Copy and Paste in Project Planning

Duplicate nodes within the project tree effortlessly using the new copy and paste feature, available in the Project Planning tab. (Hint: Try to right click on a project node to get even more options!)

Subtasks in Project Structure

View a project node’s list of subtasks in a dedicated view within the Project Structure tab, offering deeper insights into project components. To keep our UI simple, this view is not part of the default customizing and displays a read-only list of tasks. In case you’d like to make use of this new tab, simply add them to your own customizing

Value Helps for Authorization Fields

Following our recent addition of the “Authorizations” tab, we’ve introduced value helps for Users, User Groups, and Organizational Units, simplifying authorization management.

Copy Roles from Other Projects and Project Templates

Within the “Roles” tab, you can now copy roles from other projects and project templates, streamlining role creation and setup.

Enhanced Loading Speeds in Project Planning and Project Structure

We’re delivering on our promise of performance enhancements: the trees within the Project Planning and Project Structure tabs now load significantly faster. This improvement not only makes navigating through projects more efficient but also speeds up the process of opening projects, especially noticeable when selecting one from the Project Overview.
While this update brings a substantial boost in speed and responsiveness, we’re not stopping here. Look forward to even more performance enhancements in upcoming releases, as we continue to refine and accelerate your PPP experience.
