2025.2.0 - Dynamic Field Control and Mass Creation of Teams Hierarchy

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance XCM functionalities and improve the efficiency of our customers’ Engineering Change Management Processes, we have introduced the following additional features in this release:

Features

Dynamic Field Control

1. Standard and custom field properties are supported

Mass creation of Teams Hierarchy

1. ABAP program: /XCM/TR_TEAMS_MASS_UPLOAD is provided to download the input file template
2. Populate this template with your Teams Hierarchy data and use it as input for the upload program.

Authorization Handling for Status Changes

1. New Authorization object, /XCM/CR, is now available. which is used to restrict status change actions to users with the appropriate authorization.

Bug Fixes/Improvements

1. Process Task ID length has been increased to 30 characters to provide descriptive name to the task
2. Provided a BAdI for creation of a follow-up task for a particular user decision
3. Follow up task creation in decision exit using BAdI
4. Notification emails are now sent to recipients Outlook when a new work item arrives.
