2025.3.1 - Extend the Agent Types for Process Route and Process Control Bugfixes
This patch includes minor features and fixes for a few small to medium-priority bugs. Detailed information is provided below. Features Adapt to the newly released feature from SAP to address agent of Change Record Change Creator and Change Responsible was addressed with XCM as agent type “CR” With new release from SAP now there are 2 agent types “CZ” and “CX” which are used to address Change Responsible and Change Creator respectively XCM is now adapted for the usage of agent types “CX” and “CZ” in addition to the existing agent type “CR”
2025.3.0 - Migration to Change Record and CR Item Status Change on milestones
Following earlier releases that enhanced the process, we continue to improve the process implementation and in addition we started to provide options to transfer the existing Engineering Change Record created in ERP to the S/4HANA Change Record solution. Features Migrate existing ECR Existing ER created in ECC system can be transferred to S/4HANA and be part of Change Record Migration can be controlled based on various criteria with the XCM Migration Cockpit that helps to filter Engineering Record(ER) based on its header fields. Authorization control enables the access to READ-ONLY and EDIT user for the Migration Cockpit. Options to set one time customization mapping for all ER or for specific ER is possible. In addition Migration Cockpit provides option to overrule the configuration for specific ERs for single record or in mass selection. Item Status Change Change Management being responsible in driving the changes of different Objects which are added as Item to the Change record, the automatic update of its status reduces human effort and streamlines process quickly by the system Item status change is achieved with a BRF decision table which could be used to map the Change Record status change on which the item status change should occur BAdI is provided to implement for each Object and solution from XCM providing the implementation for MAT, RCP, SPC and DIR Improvement to Teams Mass Upload Download file is defaulted with file name and xlsx extension Possible to Download file template with existing content based on Team Type Bug Fixes Added T-Code for BRF+ Generate Program and Teams Upload Improved the option to select more than one user for the Additional Agent with agent type ZA and create work-item with all users resolved for this agent type
2025.2.1 - Extended agents through exit implementation
This patch includes minor features and fixes for a few small to medium-priority bugs. Detailed information is provided below. Features Agent determination can be based on predefined Agent for Agent Type “ZA” Extended agent functionality is to address scenarios where the agents determined from the CR header and Teams hierarchy do not meet the requirements, BRF+ can be configured for the relevant task. Additional agent resolution logic can then be implemented using the BAdI /XCM/PR_EX_ADD_AGENT, enabling agent assignment based on CR header fields or other parameters. Multi-language support added for approval task subjects and descriptions It is important to provide clear instructions to users regarding the tasks they need to carry out. Providing these task descriptions in multiple languages is essential to ensure easy understanding. Since the standard functionality does not support this, XCM has enhanced this functionality to display the task description and subject in the user’s current language, based on the settings in their user profile on the Fiori Launchpad. 2025.2.0 - Dynamic Field Control and Mass Creation of Teams Hierarchy
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance XCM functionalities and improve the efficiency of our customers’ Engineering Change Management Processes, we have introduced the following additional features in this release: Features Dynamic Field Control Standard and custom field properties are supported See Dynamic Field Control for more details on this feature and how to configure it Mass creation of Teams Hierarchy ABAP program: /XCM/TR_TEAMS_MASS_UPLOAD is provided to download the input file template Populate this template with your Teams Hierarchy data and use it as input for the upload program. For more information, refer to Mass Creation of Teams Hierarchy Authorization Handling for Status Changes New Authorization object, /XCM/CR, is now available. which is used to restrict status change actions to users with the appropriate authorization. Bug Fixes/Improvements Process Task ID length has been increased to 30 characters to provide descriptive name to the task Provided a BAdI for creation of a follow-up task for a particular user decision Follow up task creation in decision exit using BAdI Notification emails are now sent to recipients Outlook when a new work item arrives.
2025.1.0 - eXtended Process Control

Going forward, every new release of XCM will be accompanied by a post, like this one, giving you an overview of all significant new features and bug fixes (If any). Features This release includes the following features: Advanced process control of SAP S/4HANA Change Record Improved process routing for enhanced automation and efficiency using a single generic template. Eliminates the need for manual creation of process route templates by automatically generating routes based on BRF+ rules.
